RIVET: An Exhibition on Women in the Trades
June 22 - July 29

This exhibition features tradeswomen from all over the world and from all manner of industries - welders, electricians, blacksmiths, ironworkers, firefighters and carpenters. Whether their work in this exhibition is a product of their trade or a complement to it, this show is designed to be a celebration of the skill and craftsmanship of tradeswomen’s work, to honor their work and legacy and to facilitate critical dialogue on gender inequality in the workforce. It is the first time an exhibition of this kind on women in trade has been produced.

Participating artists and tradeswomen include: Monica Coyne, Brenda Berkman, Victoria Hamlin, Susan Eisenberg, Cailin Short, Sandy Thacker, Angela Rene Wright, Hilary Peach, Ash Jiminez, Judy Kujundzic, Elizabeth Johnson, Robin Anderson and Kate Braid.

The exhibition will run until July 29 and will align with LADYFEST - a Celebration of Women in Music - at the Grange Hall on July 22.
